I can't believe that so much time has passed since I last posted! I am really going to try to do better. I finished the Percy Jackson series and it's really a good one. I liked the way it ended too! If you haven't read this series of books then you really should!
I was in Barnes and Noble today and picked up some new books for the library. I just finished one titled My fair Godmother by Janette Rallison. I totally enjoyed this book and highly recommend it! The main character is a 17 year old girl who gets sent back to the middle ages by her Fair Godmother (she isn't a "fairy" godmother because she didn't listen well in school) as an extra credit project. There are quite a few laughs in this story, a mystery, sword fighting, a leprechaun, magic, and an ogre, just to mention a few. I think you're going to love it! It should be ready for check out by Tuesday.

ReplyDeleteThe 2nd book in the Hunger Games Trilogy, Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins came out yesterday! I'm not sure if the series is considered "appropriate" for middle school, but it's really good. Definitely worth taking a look at.
